How to set up a Business Service Center? (GoPolonia Office)

One of the effects of the GoPolonia Project is the creation of a network of cooperating centers of entrepreneurship, consulting, and promotion in the form of Polonia Economic Embassies. We plan their activities in 40 countries around the world. Most of them arise from existing Polish community business environment organizations and selected local companies or consortia operating in the field of business consulting and advisory.

To become a GoPolonia Partner and to run an Authorized BSC Office, you must document specific qualifications, assume many obligations, and meet the conditions set out in the
Regulations.

PARTNER'S OBLIGATIONS

1. Qualification

  • The Project Partner (chamber of commerce or other business environment organization from a selected country or entity) must be registered in a given country, state. It must act legally in the form of an association, foundation, another non-profit type, or conduct business in the field of business management, consulting, and consulting. He must obtain the recommendation of the head of the Polish diplomatic mission (Consulate or Embassy or ZBH) or the opinion of the Honorary Consul appointed in a given Country. The candidate must have direct links with the Polish community, run a business with a range of min. Macro-regional of the country (state, province, province, county, province, or nationwide and have contact, access, and the ability to influence local business effectively.
  • The partner in his statute (or activity, mission) should have a provision that one of his goals is the economic promotion of Poland and building a positive image of Poland. One of the main activities is the creation of business relations and ties between its members, local entities, and Polish enterprises and business environment organizations. The partner should also demonstrate cooperation between science and business.
  • The partner should demonstrate past achievements in the country of operation and present the existing contacts with Polish partners, cooperators, institutions and provide the effects of these activities.

2. Infrastructure

The Partner must have:
a/ legal personality, confirmed by a document
b/ scope of activity following the assumptions of the Project
c/ address being the Partner’s seat (lease, tenancy agreement, properties)

e/ e-mail address
f/ website
g/ office open from Monday to Friday between 8-16: 00: (telephone line, internet), software (agreed with the Project implementer)
h/ access (if necessary) to the "business room" (up to 10 people) and the conference room (up to 100 people) for the needs of meetings, seminars, and other business events.
i/ in different time zones (above +/- 6 hours), the Partner will be additionally available (e.g., under a mobile phone or Skype) for a minimum of 2 hours. (After or before) your agreed working time by providing "on-live" communication with Poland.

3. Tasks and scope of activity

  • Current acquisition of information on the needs of service management, institutions in the field of management (commercial, service, investment, cooperative offers, staffing needs, business consulting),
  • Current publication of offers on Business Magnet in parts and spaces administered by the Partner and dedicated to the country.
  • Delivery of minimum twice a month a 'dedicated' publication for a newsletter/news (according to a ready template). It will contain current information, e.g., recommending trade fair events, changes in business law, relevant trade agreements, investments.
  • Providing information and answers to asked questions of users registered on GoPolonia (applies to the necessary scope of data on the local market, law, regulations).
  • Providing information and solutions to questions asked by local entrepreneurs on the economy, assets, and advantages of Poland, and promoting the GoPolonia Project.
  • Active participation in meetings and events organized by local business environment organizations (industry, commercial, economic, ethnic). It is to create a network of cooperation with local partners who can share and promote knowledge about Poland. It is also to presentation and transfers business offers to the Business Magnet system and encourage participation in the industry e-Fair.
  • Establishing permanent cooperation with the local, national chamber of exporters and importers
  • Building lasting partnerships with all Polish Diaspora organizations (clubs, associations, foundations, parishes) located in the country of operation..
  • Establishing permanent cooperation with selected law firms, real estate offices, consulting companies, accounting, and financial services, tax advisors. It is to create a list of recommended services for Polish enterprises whose function will be at a high level and on favorable and preferential terms.
  • Providing assistance in organizing Economic Missions (organized or supported by GoPolonia) to the Partner’s country of activity, including developing a stay plan, holding business meetings (B2B / M-M), hotel reservations, logistics service, catering, etc.
  • Creating and updating a database of companies and business environment organizations that are or should be of interest to Polish enterprises (industry directory of Polonia companies, local companies, and nationwide companies). Target database size: minimum 2,000 actively operating entities (within three years).
  • Organizing cyclical meetings with local businesses, representatives of the Polish diaspora, media. It is o present the GoPolonia Project and promote individual voivodships of the Polish region, their values, offers, and business and tourist offers.
  • Other tasks specified in the agreement between the Partner and the Project Implementer.
